Next week HIMSS Liège, organised by HIMSS Europe, will welcome the HIMSS French speaking Community members and all the digital health professionals from its neighbouring countries: France, The Netherlands and Luxembourg, on 1 – 3 April 2019. For its second conference edition, HIMSS Liège is putting the patients at the centre of the discussion, bringing them closer to hospitals through information and technology. On Wednesday 3rd April Agfa HealthCare colleagues and Integrated Care experts Damien De Greef and Katoesja Van der Hoeven will present the opening talk on “Enabling Patient Engagement Throughout the Continuum of Care”, presenting case studies of implemented models that are delivering patient care outside of brick and mortar hospitals.
The Conference is taking place in partnership with the Liège University Hospital (CHU) and the University of Liège (ULg). The University Hospital of Liège continues to maintain its status as one of the most digitally mature hospitals in Europe, after successfully achieving a Stage 6 level of the HIMSS Analytics Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model (EMRAM) in 2016.
