Today at Arab Health 2023, in Dubai, his Excellency, Mr. Fahad bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Jalajel, the Minister of Health Saudi Arabia, visited the AGFA HealthCare booth. His Excellency, the Minister, was accompanied by his senior delegation. Dr. Anjum Ahmed, Global Chief Medical Officer and Director of Innovation at AGFA HealthCare welcomed His Excellency along with AGFA’s global and region leadership.
His Excellency Mr. Fahad Al-Jalajel highlighted the significance of enabling innovation in Saudi Arabia’s Healthcare sector and the role AGFA HealthCare could play. During the conversation with His Excellency, Dr. Anjum Ahmed commented on the importance of Saudi Arabia’s transformative projects and how AGFA HealthCare can be an enabling partner for innovation with Enterprise Imaging, and help enable the Ministry of Health with innovative projects including AI to help improve population health programs.
AGFA HealthCare has a long history of collaboration with the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia. Today, AGFA’s flagship Enterprise Imaging solution is implemented in more than one third of Saudi Arabia’s healthcare facilities.
Mustafa Hamdy, Region Sales Manager, referred to the recent establishment of the AGFA HealthCare regional headquarters in Riyadh, a demonstration of AGFA’s commitment to continue the close collaboration with the Ministry of Health.
