We are pleased to announce that we have started the Go Live of the upgrade project to Enterprise Imaging at UC CHRISTUS Health Network in Chile.
UC CHRISTUS Health Network is one of the most important private health care networks in Chile. In 2013, Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile, and client of Agfa Healthcare Chile for more than 15 years, partnered with Christus Health, one of the largest institutions in the United States, with the purpose of expanding its health network both in Chile and Latin America.
The implementation of the Enterprise Imaging solution in the UC CHRISTUS Health Network seeks to add new functionalities to the medical image management platform and allow the incorporation over time of new departments that generate images, to a single platform at the institutional level, seeking the Image centralization concept. In this phase of the project, the complete migration of the current RIS/PACS platform to Enterprise Imaging and the optimization of processes in the management of medical images is considered, starting with the departments of Radiology, Gastro, Nuclear Medicine, Dental, Cardio, Gynecology and Obstetrics.

Nos es grato comunicar que hemos comenzado con la puesta en producción del proyecto de ugrade desde la reconocida y robusta plataforma Impax RIS a la nueva y vanguardista plataforma RIS/Agfa HealthCare Enterprise Imaging en la Red de Salud UC CHRISTUS.
Red de Salud UC CHRISTUS es una de las redes de atención medica privada más importantes de Chile. El año 2013, la Pontificia Univeersidad Catolica de Chile, y cliente de Agfa Healthcare Chile por más de 15 años, se asoció con Christus Health, una de las instituciones más grandes de Estados Unidos con el propósito de expandir su red de salud tanto en Chile como en América Latina.
La implementación de la solución Enterprise Imaging en la Red de Salud UC CHRISTUS, busca agregar nuevas funcionalidades a la plataforma de gestión de imágenes médicas y permitir la incorporación en el tiempo de nuevos departamentos que generan imágenes a una plataforma única a nivel institucional, consolidando el concepto de imágenes centrales. A partir de este proyecto, se considera la migración completa de la plataforma RIS/PACS actual hacia Enterprise Imaging y la optimización de procesos en la gestión de imágenes médicas. La primera fase del proyecto los departamentos de Radiología, Gastro, Medicina Nuclear, Dental, Cardio, Ginecología y Obstetricia
