Proud to report the recent go-live of Enterprise Imaging at Hinchingbrooke Hospital, part of the The North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust (NWAFT) in the United Kingdom. The trust consists of 3 sites and offers a wide variety of acute services to a population of approximately 700.000 residents.
With the Hinchingbrooke Hospital go live, the implementation of Enterprise Imaging and XERO Universal viewer at the trust is complete and now provides a trust-wide platform for improved efficiency and cross-site collaboration: The reporting staff of over 20 now easily accesses all imaging and reports from across the organisations within the Trust.
Crucial in the project was the migration of historic data as well as the alignment of workflows between the sites. Much of the implementation has been carried out remotely but thanks to the effort of both Trust and Agfa teams, a detailed preparation and many MS Teams video meetings the migration and implementation went very smoothly. Congratulations and a huge thank you to the entire project teams from both organisations.
Roberto Anello, Managing Director Agfa HealthCare for UK & Ireland comments,
“We are delighted the partner approach to delivering Enterprise Imaging to Hinchingbrooke Hospital during the pandemic has been an overwhelming success, through the determination and collaboration of the joint project team. This is another multi-facility deployment for Agfa and a fantastic achievement for our client who has achieved a consistent clinical user experience across the region of North West Anglia.”
With this go live Agfa HealthCare continues to set the pace of Enterprise Imaging deployments across the United Kingdom. 30+ deployments of Enterprise Imaging and XERO Universal Viewer reduce complexity and support multidisciplinary collaboration.
