Following the Agfa company press release on 2 December 2019 (www.agfa.com/corporate/press/), we’d like to provide further information and clarification. The press release announced that Agfa-Gevaert Group has entered into exclusive negotiations with Dedalus Holding S.p.A. to sell a part of its HealthCare IT business.
The Business for sale consists of the Healthcare Information Solutions (EPR/EMR) and Integrated Care activities (HIE/PHM) in region DACH, France and Brazil, as well as the Imaging IT activities to the extent that these activities are tightly integrated into the Healthcare Information Solutions activities in these three geographies.
The Healthcare IT Imaging Solutions Division, which includes our IMPAX and Enterprise Imaging solutions (PACS, RIS, CVIS, VNA, Viewer, etc), in all other geographies, is not affected by this announcement.
