WannaCry attack

Emergency security update on Windows systems

As you have most probably heard from the media coverage, beginning on May 12, 2017 several industry sectors, including healthcare, have been affected by a global ransomware attack named “WannaCry”.

Following an immediate investigation, we have confirmed that the Agfa HealthCare network and systems have not been impacted.

To prevent any possible damages to your Windows systems, a critical patch update is required, which was first provided by Microsoft on March 14, 2017.

The Microsoft patch has been validated for all our product lines. Agfa HealthCare strongly recommends that you install the security patch.
